The spring system features a single tier of 1,716 hand-nested, calico-pocketed Vanadium steel coils in a King size. Each coil sits in its own calico pocket, responding to weight independently to support sleepers of different builds without interference. Vanadium steel maintains tension longer than standard carbon steel, a characteristic applied across the range. Available in Soft, Medium, Firm, and Extra Firm tensions, King sizes can be split at the centre for different preferences, with two rows of hand side-stitching and hand-tufting with felt washers to secure fillings and preserve a firm, consistent sleeping surface to the very edge.
