The ticking is woven from wool, silk, and viscose to encourage breathability and a soft first touch. Inside, the core builds in layers: British fleece wool for resilience and moisture regulation, followed by the long, crimped Moosburger horsetail to resist compression and preserve loft; Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere for a finer, warmer transition; and a final base of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton for body and absorption. The two layers of hand-nested, vanadium steel calico pocket springs—3,296 in a King size—respond independently to weight and movement to maintain continuous support. A wool and coir border, reinforced by four rows of hand side-stitching, extends the sleep surface to the edge, while hand tufting compresses the fillings into a stable, consistent depth at every tuft point.
